The workshop will offer a combination of presentations, practical exercises and question and answer sessions aimed at improving participants' overall understanding of the SPS Agreement and its relevance to agricultural trade. It will cover the main principles and disciplines of the SPS Agreement, including transparency, as well as the work of the SPS Committee and how it can be used to resolve trade concerns. The participants will also improve their knowledge on the work of the Standards and Trade Development Facility (STDF).
