Description
This Workshop is organized by the WTO Secretariat, in cooperation with the Government of Colombia, for government officials and other interested persons. The purpose of the Workshop is to familiarize participants with the recent developments related to the GPA 2012 and the WTO Committee on Government Procurement, and the synergies and complementarities between the GPA 2012 and other international instruments and regional trade agreements. In addition, the workshop will provide an opportunity to reflect on the potential benefits, challenges and modalities of accession and participation in the GPA 2012 with the objective of facilitating an internal dialogue on good policies and practices.
