Description
This Workshop is organized by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in cooperation with the WTO Secretariat under the EBRD GPA Technical Cooperation Facility at the request of the Public Procurement Agency (PPA) of Albania. The main objectives of the workshop are: (i) to familiarize participants, consisting of the Head of the PPA and the Albanian government's team in charge of the accession to the GPA, with the WTO Agreement on Government Procurement (GPA 2012) (ii) to elaborate on the accession procedure, potential benefits and challenges of accession to the GPA 2012; and (iii) to discuss recent developments related to government procurement, including regarding cross-border e-procurement. The Workshop will be held in English.
