Description
The 2022 course on LDC priorities in global trade is designed to support the participants in better understanding the evolving trade discussions in the WTO, and global trading landscape. The participants will benefit from an in-depth discussion with the colleagues from WTO Secretariat on the outcomes of the 12th WTO Ministerial Conference. The participants will also have an in-depth discussion on trade impacts of LDC graduation, which is the topic of priority for the LDC group. During the course, the participants will have an opportunity to interact with trade experts on evolving trade priorities of LDCs in the multilateral trading system. In addition, the participants will exchange views on different proposals put forward by WTO members on WTO reform. At the end of the course, the participants will have a roundtable discussion during which they will share their takeaways from the course and brainstorm on possible priorities for the LDC group in the multilateral trading system moving forward.
