Description
The visit of the WTO delegation led by Deputy Director General Zhang Xiangchen is organized as a follow up to the letter of WTO DG Dr Ngozi Okonji-Iweala, addressed to H.E. Mr. Serdar Berdimuhamedov, President of Turkmenistan, dated 20 April 2022, to assist Turkmenistan in the launch of the domestic preparation for the WTO accession process. The visit includes high-level meetings with Government and other stakeholders (4 July), the Round Table on Turkmenistan's WTO Accession with development partners and donors (5 July) and the launch of the Work Programme on the Preparation of the MFTR, assisted by the Asian Development Bank (5-6 July).
