This national workshop on WTO accession aims to enhance the knowledge and understanding of Uzbek government officials about the accession process, relevant documentation and best practices, through technical and experience-sharing sessions conducted by WTO trainers. The workshop will be accompanied by bilateral meetings between Deputy Director-General Zhang Xiangchen and high-level government officials involved in the accession process to discuss the state of play and next steps in Uzbekistan's accession to the WTO in the run-up to MC12 and the fifth meeting of the Working Party in December 2021.
