Description
As part of its technical assistance activities, the WTO Secretariat is proposing a technical workshop to support Members and Observers to build their capacity to assess and review, as appropriate, their domestic health systems, intellectual property (IP) regimes and trade policy settings so that those tools can be effectively used in an integrated way to address the pandemic. This event is intended to gauge capacity building needs and priorities of Members and Observers to deal with public health challenges and to promote the development, manufacture and dissemination of COVID-19 critical health technologies, and thus to assist the development and implementation of further, more tailored technical assistance activities.
This activity will take place on Interprefy; presentations will be delivered in English with simultaneous interpretation into French and Spanish.
