The activity aims at familiarizing participants with tools and techniques of economic analysis of trade policy. It will provide an overview of trade policy, and elaborate on the instruments/measures used to achieve trade policy objectives. It will cover the general framework of trade policy; the two main categories of trade policy instruments (i.e. tariff-related measures, and non-tariff measures); the activity will also seek the private sectors views on these trade policy instruments.
