Description
At the request of the Federal Government of Somalia and under the overall guidance of Somalia's Chief Trade Negotiator, the International Trade Centre (ITC) will lead the coordination and facilitation of a joint ITC-World Trade Organization (WTO) technical mission to Mogadishu, Somalia. The mission brings together ITC's project implementation and technical assistance role and the WTO Secretariat's accession-process expertise to support Somalia's preparations for the next stages of its WTO accession. It will be delivered in the context of the UK funded and ITC-implemented Making Trade Happen 2026-27 project, "Supporting Somalia's WTO accession to enhance Trade Competitiveness and Inclusive Growth".
