Description
In the context of preparing for the 14th Working Party Meeting on its accession to the WTO, Uzbekistan's national team requests technical assistance from the Secretariat on accession-related issues concerning trade remedies. The workshop will aim to strengthen the team's capacity to assess trade remedies legislation against WTO requirements and Members' practice. To this end, participants will review Uzbekistan's draft legislation in light of Members' questions and proposed commitments, with a view to identifying any necessary amendments and improving the authorities' ability to prepare replies and engage confidently in negotiations on these issues.
