Description
This activity is designed as a targeted capacity-building exercise to support Curaçao's preparation for its first accession Working Party meeting. It combines engagement with senior government stakeholders with hands-on technical sessions to strengthen understanding of the accession process, clarify institutional roles, and guide the structuring and sequencing of negotiations. The programme focuses in particular on reviewing and updating core accession documentation, preparing initial market access offers in goods and services, and identifying legislative and institutional gaps. It also aims at supporting the alignment of key stakeholders across government and beyond, fostering national ownership and a shared understanding of the opportunities and obligations of WTO membership.
