Description
The requested technical assistance is expected to support Bhutan in finalizing the Draft Working Party Report, Legislative Action Plan, and market access offers for goods and services in a timely and comprehensive manner. It will also help strengthen coordination between the WTO Secretariat and the national accession team, ensuring that the documentation meets WTO requirements and reflects Bhutan’s current trade regime accurately.
The engagement is further expected to facilitate clarity on the sequencing of next steps in the accession process and to enable Bhutan to be in a position to circulate the finalized documents and proceed towards convening the next Working Party Meeting, in June 2026.
