Description
The Annual Conference will allow the WCP Chairs from all phases of the programme to take stock of the work that they have undertaken over the past year, as well as discuss and identify plans for future activities and collaboration on joint projects, while contributing to the longer-term objectives of strengthening South-South collaboration and promoting inter-generational learning among Chairs. Members of the WCP Academic Advisory Board will comment and advise on the outputs delivered by the Chairs and on the future of the programme more generally. The Chairs will additionally benefit from interaction with WCP donors, Geneva-based delegations, the Secretariat and other stakeholders to gain insights on current priorities. The conference will include, among other things, thematic sessions in plenary format, regional and topic-based breakout sessions, and a fireside chat with the Director-General.
