This two-day programme is structured as follows:
The 2-day national workshop, held in English, is structured as follows:
• Day 1 will provide an introduction to the IFD Agreement and its key disciplines, complemented by a short practical exercise on transparency and streamlining and speeding up investment-related administrative procedures;.
• Day 2 will focuses on the Agreement's interface with IIAs, the Agreement's comprehensive special and differential treatment provisions and IFD needs assessments. In the afternoon of Day 2, the Saudi authorities will provide an update on their IFD Needs Assessment process, conducted with the help of experts from the World Bank Group.
