The national workshop aims to assist Timor-Leste on its effective WTO membership in the immediate post-accession period, including the implementation of its WTO commitments, in line with its WTO Post-Accession Implementation Strategy, and the preparation of the initial notifications. The workshop also aims to facilitate establishing of a greater synergy between WTO membership and Timor-Leste's parallel regional integration effort, to help achieve its 2030 development goals.
