Description
The purpose of the Workshop is to provide participants with a detailed understanding of the WTO Agreement on Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT) and on the recent developments in this area, including in the TBT Committee. The Workshop will provide a forum to share national and regional experiences in the implementation of the Agreement and to debate on challenges facing Latin American Members in the preparation, adoption and application of TBT measures.

The Application Form must be returned, completed and signed by the candidate as well as by the nominating national authority which presents the candidate, via the Permanent Mission/Embassy to the WTO, to the Logistics Unit, WTO Institute for Training and Technical Cooperation.
Pre-requisite
The nominees should have proven substantive professional experience working on TBT related matters and including those discharging duties related to the functions of the TBT Enquiry Point and/or the TBT Notification Authority.
