The activity aims at providing training on trade finance instruments and techniques mostly to trade bankers and compliance officers in banks involved in imports and exports of the country. Cabo Verde is a small economy affected by the reduction in banking relations with the rest of the world, which makes trade-related payments and finance harder to flow. The activity will also dispense knowledge about how to address trade-based money laundering requirements in the trade finance space.
