On the 22nd of February, there was a one-day, joint IFC-WTO dissemination/training trade finance event taking place in Hanoi, Viet Nam, at Hotel Melia. The event provided the opportunity to present, in the morning, the joint WTO-IFC report on "Trade Finance in the Mekong Region", launched in December 2023 by the DG and the Head of IFC. It was followed by advocacy and training which took place midday and afternoon. This particular clearly had a capacity-building component. On the 23rd of February, there was another presentation of the report IFC-WTO at the Foreign Trade University of Hanoi, organized by the WTO Chair, in cooperation with the WTO Secretariat of the Chair Program. This activity would be labelled more as outreach.
