Description
The Trade and Public Health Workshop is a multidisciplinary technical assistance activity aimed at enhancing the capabilities of government officials. Its primary objectives are to:

1. Analyze policies related to trade and public health, and understand their implications for innovation and access to health technologies.
2. Effectively implement health-related provisions in WTO Agreements.
3. Establish interdisciplinary networks among colleagues working on trade and public health issues.

The programme includes expert lectures, interactive debates, practical group work to encourage analysis and discussion, and presentations on national experiences by selected participants. Given the broad and complex topics covered, the schedule is designed to be intense and demanding.

This Workshop is intended for senior government officials involved in trade, intellectual property, and public health. It aims to foster collaboration and coordination among officials working in these interconnected areas of public policy.
