Description
The African Organisation for Standardisation (ARSO) holds its 29th General Assembly under the theme "“Acceleration of the African Continental Free Trade Area Implementation One Standard-One Test-One Certificate-Accepted Everywhere" and organizes African Day of Standardisation. The theme is meant to generate greater commitment and cooperation among stakeholders, including the standardisation community, on the programmes that will facilitate the effective implementation of the AfCFTA. African Day of Standardisation will provide technical assistance to standards bodies of all 42 ARSO Members and also its stakeholders. It will address topics such as standards harmonisation activities, conformity assessment and harmonisation of African quality policies.
