The workshop is designed to improve government officials' knowledge and understanding of the notification requirements under various WTO agreements, in view of the fact that the general level of compliance with certain obligations is low.
Officials from the institutions involved in the administration of any of the WTO agreements that have notification requirements should be trained so that they acquire knowledge on the subject matter. With better and fuller knowledge, the level of compliance with notification requirements should increase and existing gaps on notification will be reduced.
