The National workshop will focus on the current WTO rules in the Agreement on Agriculture with a focus on rules in the domain of agricultural subsidization where Ghana has faced challenges to fulfil its notification obligations. The workshop will take up agricultural notification requirements and formats on domestic support and will have detailed discussions with the Ghana's core notification team to go through domestic data and information on domestic support in order to present it in the form of WTO notifications. 2015 Nairobi Decision on Export Competition and the associated transparency requirements in the Questionnaire will also be taken up. The implementation of Questionnaire has become applicable to all Members after 2020 after the five-year grace period after 2015. MC12 outcome will also be taken up based on a specific request from the requesting authorities.
