This joint SPS-TBT virtual seminar is being organized by the Thai National Bureau of Agricultural Commodity and Food Standards, and will be attended by approximately 100 participants from various government agencies involved in SPS and TBT matters, as well as private sector representatives.

This seminar will be delivered in three virtual sessions held over two days. The first session (to be held on day one) will focus on providing an overview of the SPS and TBT Agreements. The second session (to be held on day two) will focus on Thailand's experience in implementing the SPS and TBT Agreements. This session will be led by Thai officials and will include speakers from the Thai National Bureau of Agricultural Commodity and Food Standards. Lastly, the third session (also to be held on day two) will focus on the implementation of the transparency provisions of the SPS and TBT Agreements, as well as provide an overview of the related transparency tools. After each of these sessions, there will be dedicated Q&A for further discussion and clarification of delivered topics.
