Description
The objective of the South-South dialogue is to create a platform for LDCs and South-South partners to assess the evolving trade and development patterns. The platform provides an opportunity to further identify ways of complementing the development needs of both LDCs and South-South partners.
This year's edition will take stock of Members' priorities for MC12, enhance participants' understanding of the proposals being discussed at the WTO and their implications for LDCs and developing countries. It will furthermore seek to identify issues of interest and concern to LDCs and other developing countries in this discussion, including with a view to advancing the common interests of LDCs and their South-South partners.
