Description
This is an activity to examine the impact of RTAs on Mauritius by:
(i) increasing policymakers' knowledge of quantitative economic methods and data sources for trade policy analysis; (ii) providing an introduction to RTAs – including recent RTA trends, relevant WTO Rules on RTAs, and the WTO's RTA Transparency Mechanism; and (iii) analyzing specific provisions/commitments in RTAs – including market access in goods and services, as well as provisions relating to SPS and TBT, trade defence, IP, dispute settlement, investment, etc.
