This national workshop on the TRIPS Agreement, at Uzbekistan's request, is designed to build its capacity to implement the TRIPS Agreement in advance of its foreseen accession to the WTO. In addition to providing an overview of TRIPS obligations and flexibilities, it will offer more in-depth discussions of TRIPS enforcement standards and IP-related questions raised by Members in the Accession Working Group.
