Description
This activity will have as objectives:
To refresh participants' knowledge of the TFA in a short revision segment through use of the WTO TFA database, increase participants' familiarity with the current and proposed timeline for implementation rate of the TFA on a regional ECOWAS basis.
To Increase participants awareness on how to use the information in the WTO TFA database to identify possible areas for a regional approach, both in terms of implementation of the TFA and of seeking assistance and capacity building support;
To increase familiarity with the role of National Trade Facilitation Committees;
To increase the familiarity with the role of the WTO Trade Facility Agreement Facility in assisting Members to access the assistance and capacity building support that they require;
To inform the participants on how to apply for TFAF grants
