Description
This Workshop is organized by the WTO Secretariat in co-operation with the Government of the People's Republic of China for the purpose of facilitating China's accession to the WTO Agreement on Government Procurement (GPA) and its future implementation of the Agreement. The main objectives of the programme are: (i) to familiarize participants with the GPA rules , including on electronic procurement and related obligations on the implementation aspect of the Agreement; (ii) to discuss China's e-procurement system and identify areas for further improvement; and (iii) to discuss existing e-procurement formats and explore their usefulness for China. The Workshop will be held in English and English-Chinese interpretation will be provided.
