Description
This Workshop is organized by the WTO Secretariat, upon the request by and in co-operation with the government of Indonesia in Jakarta on 4-5 July . The main objectives of the Workshop are: (i) to familiarize participants with international best practices under the WTO Agreement on Government Procurement (GPA), notably as it relates to trade, governance and development; and (ii) to elaborate on the potential benefits, challenges or costs, and modalities of accession to the GPA. The Workshop thus aims to facilitate internal policy dialogue with regard to any possible future accession to the Agreement.
