Description
Upon the request of Philippines' authority, a national workshop on import licensing notification and trade facilitation will be held in Manila from 7-10 May 2019. The workshop aims to focus on: 1) improve local officials' understanding of the Agreement on Import Licensing Procedures and the Agreement on Trade Facilitation, in particular the notification provisions therein; 2) the preparation of the Philippines' updated import licensing notifications under the ILP Agreement; 3) the implementation of the Philippines' commitments under the TFA Agreement.
