Description
The holding of the SPS notification seminar and participation in the national poultry congress will allow Guatemala to expand the knowledge of its officials and the private sector on the SPS agreement and will in turn encourage the proper implementation of this agreement.

Guatemala has requested support to work, review and guide the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food, and the Ministry of Health on pending notifications within the commitments of the WTO Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures Agreement. The objective of the seminar is to conclude with the review of pending notifications, so that Guatemala can be up to date with pending notifications. Also, make presentations on WTO issues regarding notifications and commitments in the National Poultry Congress.
