Description
The program is structured over three days to cover the role of services and services trade for development, the WTO General Agreement on Trade in Services (GATS), its key obligations and Schedules of specific commitments, Services Domestic Regulation, and available services trade policy analytical tools (I-TIP Services). Time is also allocated to representatives from Jamaica to demonstrate services portals that have been developed locally. This is followed by discussions, as well as practical exercises and case studies where applicable.
