Description
The programme is structured over four days to cover the topics of particular interest to Jordan. It highlights the growing role of services and services trade in development, provides an overview of the GATS—including recent outcomes on Services Domestic Regulation (SDR)—and reviews key trends in preferential services trade agreements. Participants will also be introduced to practical tools for services trade policymaking, including i-TIP Services, the Competitiveness Dashboard, and the WTO–World Bank Handbook on Good Regulatory Practices to Facilitate Trade in Services, together with the Diagnostic and Reform Planning Tool.
