The WCP Regional Conference of Asian and African Chairs aims to promote informed debate on international trade, investment, and economic law relevant to their regions. Key topics include: (1) Regional Aspects in International Trade Law; (2) Sustainable Climate Actions; (3) Green Industrial Policies and Trade Tensions; (4) Critical Minerals for Clean Energy; (5) WTO Appellate Body and Alternative Dispute Settlement Mechanisms; (6) Agriculture Trade and Sustainability; and (7) Inclusive Digital Transformation.
The Conference will feature panel discussions with WCP Chairs, senior officials, academics, and professionals. It will also host a Roundtable of Asian and African Chairs to enhance regional cooperation and contribute to the WTO's mission.
