Description
The Workshop will provide government officials with an overview of notification requirements across WTO Agreements as well as of existing online information resources on that matter. It will allow participants to take-stock of outstanding lacunae in technical knowledge and to identify internal procedures (inter-institutional) that need to be introduced or upgraded to enhance coordination for the preparation and submission of notifications. It will also serve as a basis to organize subsequent more in-depth trainings in specific areas where additional support may be required.

Eligible governments are invited to submit the applications of up to 5 capital-based officials, out of which 2 candidates will be selected for participation in this Workshop.

The nominees should be middle level government officials from the institutions involved in the administration of any of the WTO agreements that have notification requirements.
