Indicator: Presentation to the group – relevance, quality of the substance, quality of the form, time management, etc.
Evidence: The session raised awareness on the links between trade and gender and give a new perspective on how trade can impact women's economic empowerment. Using concrete examples, it helped officials understand why trade rules are not gender neutral and how WTO trade agreements can be implemented with gender lens for a positive impact on women.

Objective: At the end of the session the participants will be able to understand the rational in integrating gender provisions in trade agreements and what has been done so far by members and how.
Category: Enhance the capacity of government officials to operationalize and correctly implement provisions of one or several WTO Agreements

Evidence: Participants mentioned that they now look at FTAs provisions with a gender perspective.
Conclusion: At the end of the course, participants said they have a greater knowledge of the trade and gender nexus, will implement trade and gender concepts and tools in analysing and developing trade policies and better understand how the WTO approaches the issue of trade and gender.
