Objective: At the end of the session, participants will have enhanced their understanding of issues related to the acceptance of the Protocol Amending the TRIPS Agreement.

  • Indicator: Participants opinion

    Evidence: 100% of participants which completed the PEF rated the activity a 4 or 5/5 with respect to whether they found the activity professionally useful or relevant.

  • Indicator: Participation – frequency and quality of the interventions / questions raised, contribution to group work

    Evidence: Participants engaged with the presenter and asked a number of questions on regarding the acceptance of the Protocol Amending the TRIPS Agreement.

Conclusion: The objective was achieved to a large extent.

Objective: At the end of the session, participants will have enhanced their understanding of issues related to the incorporation of the Special Compulsory Licensing System into domestic law.

    Evidence: 100% of participants which completed the PEF rated the activity a 4 or 5/5 with respect to the quality of the presentations and lectures.

  • Indicator: Participation – frequency and quality of the interventions / questions raised, contribution to group work

    Evidence: Participants raised questions relating to what possible legislative or policy actions they could potentially take in order to incorporate the special compulsory licensing system into their national legal framework.

Conclusion: The objective was achieved to a large extent.

  • Indicator: Participation – frequency and quality of the interventions / questions raised, contribution to group work

    Evidence: Participants expressed that the WTO TRIPS transparency tools available, including those related to the special compulsory licensing system, would assist them in their future work.
